There is only 1 Hanger Steak per animal, so it takes us a while to accumulate enough of these to sell! Also known as “Butcher Steaks” (since butchers know enough to keep them for themselves), these are no question the UGLY DUCKLING of the Steak world. Camouflaged beneath all that gristle is THE BEST STEAK WE HAVE EVER TASTED… EVER. AND YES IT DESERVES ALL-CAPS TREATMENT SINCE IT IS THAT GOOD!

With a sharp knife and 10 minutes of very satisfying work, you reveal the equivalent of two tender filets (and a third extra bit if you choose to separate it) with more flavor than you could possibly imagine. Sear in a hot pan, turning every minute, for 6 minutes, and you’ve got nirvana on your hands.
