16oz (1 pint) Beef Tallow (arrives frozen, but is shelf stable)
Our tallow is made from 100% Randall Lineback Beef suet. This special fat, which surrounds the kidneys, has a different texture and melting point than other beef fat. True tallow only comes from this particular fat. We shave, render, and clarify it. Due to its high smoking point, tallow is especially well-suited to high-heat cooking, whether burgers, steaks, or vegetables. Use it as a substitute for any other cooking oil- the flavor is mild and a bit nutty.
Although our tallow will arrive frozen, tallow is a shelf stable product and can be stored at room temperature (although we recommend refrigeration for the best longevity).
